AI-assisted workflows, trust-heavy UX, and product systems
My work spans enterprise software, global fintech, e-commerce transformation, and AI-assisted systems. I use research, mapping, system design, product judgment, and technical fluency to turn messy problems into products people can trust and teams can ship.
Built for American Express, Wayfair, Ford, Xbox, and RTA. Recent work includes 1.2M+ adoptions, $11M recovered, 0% to 72% platform adoption growth, and AI-assisted workflows designed for real operational use.
Selected work in AI-assisted systems, secure fintech flows, operational workflow design, and enterprise transformation.
Built a 0–1 AI-assisted document analysis platform that captures how experienced analysts think and makes that process repeatable at scale. Designed the system to reduce review time while preserving trust, privacy, and human oversight, shifting teams from manual review to structured decision-making.
Designed a human-in-the-loop AI workflow that lets fleet teams upload vendor invoices, review extracted data, resolve warnings, and save structured work orders tied to the correct asset record.
Led the redesign of a global consumer authentication experience used by millions, transforming security from a point of friction into a moment of reassurance. Reframed system language and flow ownership to align user trust with fraud prevention, without changing underlying security requirements.
Served as cross-functional CX and program leader on a multi-year transformation spanning five consumer brands and global markets. Focused on customer-journey replatforming, planning discipline, and visibility systems that helped dozens of teams ship coherently.
Independent systems I design and build to explore practical AI workflows, role-based agents, MCP-connected tools, and product pipelines.
AI-native research synthesis tool that turns archaeology field research into structured formatted reports.
MCP-powered product pipeline that moves from elevator pitch to scope, story mapping, user stories, and code.
Five-agent marketing system running on local hardware for content, SEO, research, and outreach.
Three-agent diagnostic system that identifies issues, researches procedures, and generates parts lists.
I’m at my best on products where workflow, decision-making, and interface all matter at the same time. I help teams understand how the work actually happens, make tradeoffs visible, and turn loose requirements into product direction they can act on. The work usually starts with research, journey maps, story maps, or system models, then moves into prototypes, UI, and delivery-ready product structure.
I’m currently designing AI-enabled workflow improvements for enterprise fleet software. Recent work includes a public sublet invoice capture feature that turns vendor invoices into structured work orders, onsite field research with fleet teams, and shared design foundations for Fleet360.

“Instrumental to our replatforming success, Joe excelled at bringing clarity to complexity, coordinating countless moving pieces with exceptional organization, persistence, and a consistently optimistic mindset.”
“Joe made a complex GenAI project feel simple. He led discovery, mapping, and prototyping with clarity and turned our research into real momentum.”
There’s a broader archive behind this too: loyalty systems, admin tools, mobile apps, connected products, physical prototypes, and a long tail of creative and technical work.
